TACTICAL SCREEN

The tactical screen gives a 3rd person view of your Spacecraft. Its primary role is to allow gun turrets and Squadron members to be controlled. The figure on the left shows an example screen where your Spacecraft is located in the centre surrounded by members of its squadron. The screen is similar to the main screen except that a ‘Command Console’ is also present which allows instructions to be issued to the squadron members.

Referring to example below, the command console displays a status report for each member of the squadron. The members can be selected by ‘clicking’ on the report area causing them to be highlighted. They can be deselected by ‘clicking’ on them a second time. The buttons immediately to the right allow all members to be selected or deselected and the buttons to the right of these issue commands.
